DFC London is located at the London International Airport (CYXU). The airport is busy enough, that students acquire experience with traffic, yet is generally quiet enough, so that students can practice in a relaxed atmosphere, without long waits for clearance.
London, Ontario is a thriving city of 400,000 residents offering a rich array of natural spaces, sports and recreation facilities. Known as the Forest City, London is big enough to have plenty of options in dining, culture, entertainment, shopping and sports, but with the friendly ambience of a smaller community. A variety of reasonably priced living accommodations (rooms, apartments and homes) are available. Located in the heart of Southwestern Ontario, the most southerly area of Canada, London residents enjoy some of the most temperate weather in the country with warm summers and relatively mild winters.
Toronto, Windor, Detroit, Cleveland, Buffalo and Niagara Falls are all within a 200 kilometre radius, and world-class beaches abound along the nearby Lake Huron and Lake Erie shoreline.
