Transport Canada Written Examinations

DFC London is now approved to administer the following Transport Canada written examinations:

  • Private Pilot Licence - Aeroplane

  • Recreational Pilot Licence - Aeroplane

  • Ultra-Light Pilot Permit

  • Private Pilot Licence - Helicopter

  • Glider Pilot Licence

  • Gyroplane Pilot Licence

  • Balloon Pilot Licence

  • Hang Glider Written Examination

  • PSTAR

  • FAA Private Pilot - Aeroplane and Helicopter (FAAPA/FAAPH)

Requirements for Admission to Written Examinations

  • Letter of Recommendation from a flight instructor (dated within 60 days)

  • Proof of validity of instructor rating for recommending instructor

  • Proof of Experience (Pilot logbook or PTR)

  • Government-issued photo ID

  • Valid aviation medical certificate

  • Proof of payment (Please pay at the dispatch desk - $150 full exam | $75 partial exam)
