We are not currently renting aircraft due to CURRENT flight school demand

  • Diamond DA20-C1 aircraft: $205 per hour

  • Grob G115C aircraft: $205 per hour

  • Diamond DA40-180 aircraft: $235 per hour

  • Diamond DA42-TDI aircraft: $418 per hour

  • DA42-VI Level 5 Flight Training Device (FTD): $150 per hour

  • DFC London Flight Instructor Rate: $89 per hour

  • Cancellation Fee (Dual): 1.5 Hours @ Current Instructor Rate

  • Cancellation Fee (Solo): $100

  • Headset Rental Fee $5 per Flight (Effective September 2, 2025)

  • Annual Administration Fee: $100 plus HST (Effective September 2, 2025)


STUDENT PILOT RENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • CURRENCY/RENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Conduct a dual, simulated forced landing during daytime hours and fly at least one hour flight time once every:

    • 30 days to maintain rental currency if not currently licensed (pre ICPL Stage 7)

    • 45 days if you hold a PPL and have less than 150 hours total time (post ICPL Stage 7)

    • 60 days if you hold a PPL and have more than 150 hours total time (post ICPL Stage 7)

    • P180 is acceptable if staying in the circuit at CYXU

    • If flying at night, these currency requirements must be met at night with the exception of the forced approach which is completed during daylight hours

    • Night X/C flights require pilot to have a minimum of 25 hours PIC cross country time or student must have successfully completed the VFR Nav Prog Flight Test

  • FUEL RESERVES:

    • 60-minute fuel reserve is required for all flights

  • WEATHER MINIMA:

  • PRACTICE AREAS:

    • For local training flights, be sure to stay in one of our Practice Areas

  • AIRCRAFT RETURN TIMES:

    • Solo Students (Practice Area or Cross Country): Return aircraft at least 60 minutes prior to sunset

    • Solo Students (CYXU Circuits): Return aircraft at least 30 minutes prior to sunset

    • Dual Flights: Return aircraft at least 30 minutes prior to sunset (waived if the instructor is current at night)
