Good morning/afternoon, we are writing to inform you of an upcoming adjustment to our training and aircraft rental rates.

Over the past several years (since our last price increase on June 1, 2024), we have worked hard to keep our prices as low and stable as possible while continuing to provide safe, high-quality flight training. Due to ongoing increases in operating costs including fuel, insurance, maintenance labour and parts we must implement a price increase effective March 1, 2026 as follows:

Instructor: $89 to $95 per hour
DA20-C1: $205 to $215 per hour
Grob G115C: $205 to $215 per hour
DA40-180: $135 per hour (unchanged)
DA42 TDI: $418 to $428 per hour
DA42-VI FTD: $150 per hour (unchanged)
DA40 NG FTD: $150 per hour (unchanged)

This adjustment allows us to:

Maintain the highest safety & maintenance standards on one of the most modern training fleets of aircraft in Canada
Retain experienced, professional flight instructors
Invest in additional DA20-C1 & DA42 aircraft
Invest in new traffic awareness hardware in all DFC aircraft
Upgrade the current student PTR software to allow all students to monitor their flight training progress in real time against integrated program benchmarks
Upgrade the current flight reservations & dispatch system software

All training and rental conducted before March 1, 2026 will be billed at current rates. Updated pricing is now available on our website at: https://www.dfclondon.com/rental
